President

FBLA
Well… this is my last regional post as an FBLA officer. I can honestly say serving as the President of this organization has been one of the best experiences of my life. While this journey is coming to a close, I am confident that this year at SLC will be a great experience. I am thankful to everyone who believed in my campaign this time last year and helped get me elected. I would love to send a special thanks to Mr. Garner who not only is my homeroom teacher and FBLA advisor, but I would consider a good friend and someone who I truly admire. Without him, I would have never taken this leap to become the President of such a large organization such as FBLA. I would also like to extend my thanks to Ms. Thomas. She is one of the most kindhearted and cooperative people I have ever had the pleasure to work with, and I am so grateful to have gotten to know her. Lastly, I would like to thank my fellow officers who stuck with me even after I was gone the entire summer. I am glad I always had Brandon and Grant to keep me in check, Bryson and Ting to hang out with me at night, and Hannah and Taylor to be the little sisters I always (never) wanted. These friendships are awesome and even though I am going to college in another state, these are contacts that I will cherish for the rest of my life.
This year your state officer team will be heading up to Greensboro a few days earlier to prepare for one of the greatest SLCs in the history of NC FBLA. I can promise you that these few days of competition and fun will be an experience that you will cherish for as long as you can remember. I hope you are excited about the future of FBLA and you are ready to see us in Greensboro in a few weeks. Please do not hesitate to come up and talk to me as I am so excited to see all of our members under one roof again. It is going to be a great time and make sure you all are working hard on your projects and competitions in preparing to bring home first place to your chapters. Make sure you stay updated on the NC FBLA website and you have everything in order to be able to do your best while you are at the Koury Center. Do not hesitate to contact me with any questions you have at connerchristian@suddenlink.net. I will see you all soon!
